1969 Topps 4-On-1 Mini Stickers Uncut Proof Sheet

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,265.00

In 1969 Topps issued the 25-card "4-on-1" test sticker set. Appearing as standard 2.5 x 3.5 inch cards with blank backs, each "card" actually features a quartet of miniature stickers in the design of cards from the 1969 Topps regular set. There are 25 different cards in the "4 on 1" test set, representing a total of 100 different card designs, all drawn from the Third Series of the regular 1969 Topps set. This series is highlighted by Willie Mays, Pete Rose, Carl Yastrzemski, and Bob Gibson. Offered is an uncut proof sheet of the 1969 "4-on-1" test issue, which has not been prepared as stickers, but is instead printed on card stock. The sheet includes 25 cards, representing a complete set of the issue. Because the sheet is printed on card stock, the "4-on-1" cards on it are not subject to the flaws commonly seen on the issued stickers. The sheet measures 13.25 x 23 inches. Ex-Mt. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $1,265.00
