1910s National League Baseball Including Original Box

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,955.00

Spalding "Official National League" baseball has striking red and black stitching and manufacturer's stamp which reads "Patented August 31-1909." Unused Major League baseballs dating from the deadball era are very scarce. This is an ideal example dating from the teens, with all manufacturer's markings bold and clear. Accompanied by its original Spalding box which technically is in low-grade but still valuable for display with the ball. The ball is in Ex-Mt condition. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $1,955.00
