Adirondack model 57B is signed "Stan Musial HOF 69" ("9") in blue Sharpie on the front of the barrel. The bat exhibits heavy game use including ball and stitch marks along the barrel. The cracked handle (approx. 13 inches) has been repaired with over a dozen small nails and has a light coat of pine tar. The model number "57B" has been stamped on the knob end. Musial won seven batting titles and retired with 3,630 hits and a .330 lifetime batting average over twenty-two seasons in the majors (1941-1963). 1950s Musial game bats are quite rare, and this is an exceptional example dating from the latter part of his career.
