1973-1975 Hank Aaron Signed Pro Model Bat
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,624.00
Hank Aaron Hillerich & Bradsby model A99 game-used bat dates from 1973 to 1975. This bat is from a very significant era for Aaron, of course, because it was during this period that he closed in on and surpassed Ruth's record of 714 lifetime home runs to become baseball's all-time home-run champion. The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of no game use with basically bat rack wear. Aaron's player number "44" is written on the knob end in vintage black marker. The barrel has been signed by Aaron in blue Sharpie and the signature grades a "9." Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 33.5 ounces. SCD Authentic Grade: A5. LOAs from Dave Bushing/SCD Authentic, Mike Gutierrez/GAI and James Spence, Steve Grad, John Taube and Vince Malta/PSA DNA. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $1,624.00
