1973-1975 Carl Yastrzemski Pro Model Bat

Carl Yastrzemski Hillerich & Bradsby model K48 shows heavy game use with ball, stitch, cleat and red bat rack marks along the barrel. The handle has been taped for extra grip and there is a crack in the center brand label. Some markings on the knob end in black marker are unrelated to Yaz. An eighteen-time All-Star, Carl Yastrzemski played his entire career with the Boston Red Sox. During his twenty-three seasons in the big leagues, Yaz won seven Gold Gloves and was voted the Most Valuable Player in the American League in 1967. With a lifetime average of .285, he retired with 3,419 hits and 452 home runs. In 1967 Yastremski won the triple crown, the last player to accomplish this feat in over thirty years.
