1992-1993 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Road Jersey
Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $4,060.00
This red mesh road jersey was manufactured for Michael Jordan specifically for use during the 1992-1993 season. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Champion" exclusive label with the year "92 93" and "Body Length +4." Next to this is the "Champion" label with the size, "46." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Bulls" and on the back is the name "Jordan." The player number "23" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are black on white tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "NBA" logo. This jersey dates from the first season the Bulls used jerseys with sewn-on numerals and lettering as opposed to the silk-screen process which was used in earlier seasons in which Jordan was a player. The jersey shows wear and has no alterations of any kind. There have been many jerseys attributed to Jordan which cannot be distinguished from store-bought jerseys. This is not one of them. Includes an extremely detailed six-page letter of opinion from SCD Authentic jersey expert Lou Lampson, which reviews the many unique qualities of the jersey which define it as an authentic team-issued 1992-1993 road jersey. SCD Authentic Grade: A5. LOA from Dave Bushing & Lou Lampson/SCD Authentic. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,500/$5,000. SOLD FOR $4,060.00
