Stunning large-format (10 x 13 inches) professional presentation studio portrait beautifully signed, inscribed, and dated by Albert Einstein in the lower margin. Dated 1936, this photograph by Delar Photography Studios of New York was produced at great expense, and commissioned personally by Albert Einstein for the purpose of formal presentation. It features the single most definitive and distinguished portrait of the legendary scientist ever taken. In formal attire, Einstein's appearance is immaculate, and the photograph beautifully captures Einstein's thoughtful eyes and intelligent demeanor. Along the margin of the photographer's mount beneath the photograph the great physicist has written a dedication to "Herr and Frau Bluestone" in German. Below the inscription he has flawlessly signed in black fountain pen, "Albert Einstein, 1936" ("10"). The Delar Photography Studios logo appears in the lower left, its address (50 Rockefeller Plaza) appears in small print in the lower right.
