Silver Surfer Comic Run #1 thru 18 CGC Graded (18)

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $522.00

Complete run of eighteen different issues of Silver Surfer, #1 thru 18, all graded by CGC. Marvel's Jack Kirby created this character in 1966 as an afterthought for a story that was already plotted and the Silver Surfer made his debut in Fantastic Four #48. The CGC grades are as follows: #1 (VG/FN 5.0), 2 (VG/FN 5.0), 3 (FN 6.0), 4 (FN+ 6.5), 5 (VG+ 4.5), 6 (VF/NM 9.0), 7 (VF/NM 9.0), 8 (VG- 3.5), 9 (VG+ 4.5), 10 (VF+ 8.5), 11 (VF- 7.5), 12 (FN/VF 7.0), 13 (VG+ 4.5), 14 (VG 4.0), 15 (VG/FN 5.0), 16 (VF- 7.5), 17 (FN 6.0), and 18 (VG+ 4.5). All have John Buscema art except the last issue, which has Jack Kirby art. Total 18 issues. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $522.00
