Ten high-grade Hall of Famers from the 1916 M101-4 and M101-5 Sporting News sets, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. Seven cards are M101-4s; three cards are M101-5 Sporting News (Hooper and W. Robinson) and one Famous & Barr Co. (Baker). Includes: #9 Frank Baker (1916 Famous & Barr, NM-MT 8), 17 Mordecai Brown (NM-MT 8), 28 Max Carey (NM-MT 8), 41 Sam Crawford (NM 7), 54 Johnny Evers (NM 7), 83 Harry Hooper (1915 M101-5, NM 7), 113 Rube Marquard (NM-MT 8), 116 John McGraw (NM-MT 8), 144 Wilbert Robinson (1915 M101-5, NM-MT 8), and 146 Ed Rousch (EX-MT 6). Five cards have blank backs (Brown, Hooper, Marquard, McGraw, Robinson), four cards have the "Sporting News" advertisement printed on reverse (Carey, Crawford, Evers, Rousch), and one card has the "Famous & Barr" advertisement printed on the back (Baker). This is a very sharp-looking high-grade collection of these popular real photo cards, comprised exclusively of Hall of Famers.
