1880s Baseball Pencil Box Collection

Each of these two rare children's pencil boxes has a beautiful full-color baseball illustration on its lid. One depicts a game in progress and the other pictures a victorious team returning home caring equipment, including bats and bases. Each case is designed with two or three separate comparments to hold pencils and other writing implements. Some slight chipping to the painted surfaces and one has a small hole through a side panel, otherwise Very Good condition. Dimensions: each 7.75 x 2 x 1.2 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800.
