Presented is an extremely extensive and fascinating collection of 205 high-quality baseball publications dating from 1895 to 1968, with the vast majority dating from the 1920s through the 1940s. Included are guides, Who's Who in Baseball, yearbooks, programs, instructional booklets, equipment catalogs, and various annuals, with a particularly strong representation in terms of quantity of 1940s and 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants publications. This is an impressive collection, carefully assembled one at a time by a very knowledgeable, advanced collector over a period of many years, with an eye for quality and value. The collection includes many rare publications with extremely attractive covers. Some of the key publications feature major stars such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Dizzy Dean,and Joe DiMaggio on their covers.
