For the insatiable Dodger enthusiast, we present this extensive collection of relics dating (primarily) to the team's postwar era, and extending into their early years in Los Angeles. It features high-profile publications, autographed balls, and an assortment of other quality items. 1) Six yearbooks: 1950 (Vg-Ex), 1954 (2 - Nr/Mt, and Ex), 1957 (Vg-Ex), 1958 (Nr/Mt-Mt), 1959 (Ex-Mt) and 1960 (Vg - tape on cover). 2) Three regular season programs: 1941 (Nr/Mt), 1945 (Vg-Ex) and 1955 (Nr/Mt). 3) 13 World Series programs: (note: with the exception of 1941, this group includes Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers World Series program pairs for all postwar World Series games including these teams, 1947 through 1956): 1941 Dodgers (Gd-Vg); 1947 Dodgers (Vg-Ex) and Yankees (Vg-Ex); 1949 Dodgers (Vg) and Yankees (Ex); 1952 Dodgers (clean vertical crease, o/w Ex) and Yankees (Ex); 1953 Dodgers (Ex) and Yankees (Vg-Ex); 1955 Dodgers (Vg-Ex) and Yankees (Vg-Ex); 1956 Dodgers (Gd) and Yankees (Ex). 4) Eight single-signed autographed balls: (all "10s" signed in ballpoint on the sweet spot; all are Official National League balls): Labine, Snider (2 signed balls), Podres, Reese, Zimmer, Branca and Erskine. 5) 1954 Dodger team-signed ball: ONL (Giles) with twenty-three signatures: Alston (ss), Russ Meyer, Roe, Newcombe, Labine, Loes, Wade, Cox, Snider, Reese, Furillo, Walker, Shuba, Hoak, Milliken, Hodges ("9"), Gilliam, Moryn, Podres, Hughes, Robinson (clubhouse), Campanella (clubhouse) and Erskine (clubhouse). All signatures "8/9" in quality. 6) 1977 L. A. Dodger team-signed ball: (pennant winner) ONL (Feeney) with thirty signatures: Lasorda (sweet spot), Garvey, Hough, Oates, Goodson, Adams, Cey, Gomez, Sutton, Garman, Lopes, Rau, Downing, Yeager, Wall, Russell, Hooton, John, Lacy, Martinez, Baker, Sosa, Powell, Basgall, Hale, Smith, Monday, Rhoden and two others. Most grade "8/9." 7) Five regular-season ticket stubs: 1946, 1952 (Gd), 1953, 1954 and 1957. All Ex, unless indicated. 8) Three courtesy passes (single-game gratuities): 1926 (Gd), 1937 (Vg-Ex) and 1940 (Ex). 9) Four special passes: 1942 press pass issued to Lou Niss (Ex-Mt), 1953 World Series "Field" pass for Yankee Stadium (Vg), 1955 World Series "Fire Dept." pass for Game 4 at Ebbets, and 1956 World Series "Field" pass for Ebbets (Nm). 10) Brooklyn Dodger mini pennants (3 diff.): BF6, BF8 and BF9. All Ex or better. 11) Clem Labine contract: fully executed Uniform Player's Contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 1960 season. Signed by Labine and Buzzy Bavasi in ballpoint (both "9/10"). Document is Ex-Mt. This is an amazing potpourri of memorabilia, a collection unto itself, assembled in tribute to perhaps the most beloved baseball team in history, dating primarily from the most glorious years of this popular franchise.
