Ron Santo 1973 All-Star Game Ring

Official All-Star ring presented to Ron Santo by Major League Baseball in honor of his selection to the National League All-Star team in 1973. The 10K gold ring features a green stone in the center with one side of the ring reading "All Star 1973" and the opposite side with a logo designed for the game. Santo's initials "RS" are engraved on the interior of the band. The ring is size 11. A feared slugger whose fifteen year career included fourteen years with the Chicago Cubs, Ron Santo had his best overall season in 1964, when he hit 30 home runs, 114 RBIs, and a league-leading 13 triples. He also captured five Gold Glove awards and was named to the All-Star team eight times. This ring represents the last All-Star Game that Santo would ever play. The ring shows very little wear and is in Near Mint condition. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $2,320.00
