1934-1944 Red Rolfe Pro Model Bat

Nicely finished Red Rolfe Hillerich & Bradsby signature model bat (pre-model #) displays evidence of heavy game use including ball, stitch, bat rack and cleat marks. This is one of only two surviving Rolfe bats that we are aware of in the collecting world. Rolfe was the starting third baseman for some of the best Yankee teams. During his ten seasons with the Yankees, they won six pennants and five World Championships. He hit .300 or better four times, with a career-high .329 in 1939, when he led the American League in hits (213), doubles (46), and runs scored (139). He scored at least one-hundred runs every year he was a regular. Length: 33.75 inches. Weight: 33 ounces. SCD Authentic Grade: A7.5.
