1981 Andre Dawson Montreal Expos Signed Game-Used Road Jersey
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,508.00
1981 was a Hall of Fame year for the "The Hawk," Andre Dawson. In 103 games for the Montreal Expos he batted .302, was elected to his first All-Star game, and won his second Gold Glove. This would be one of his best seasons in a career that spanned twenty-one years with four different teams. This Andre Dawson Montreal Expos road knit jersey dates from the 1981 season. In the neck of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "46." On the left breast is the Expos logo emblem and on the back is "Dawson" in red tackle twill letters. The player number "10" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the jersey in red tackle twill. On the inside right tail is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1981.'" Dawson has signed ("8") the front of the jersey in blue Sharpie. The uniform shows light wear and is 100% complete and original, with no alterations. Graded A10 by MEARS. LOAs from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS and James Spence/JSA and Steve Grad, Mike Gutierrez & Zach Rullo/PSA DNA. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $1,508.00
