1969-1972 Mickey Lolich Pro Model Bat

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,044.00

H&B block letter (full name) model "R43" bat displays light to moderate use throughout with no cracks. Factory records indicate only one shipment of these bats having been sent to Lolich, with an order of four bats having been shipped on 7/66/72. Lolich is one of the great Tigers heroes, and like most pitchers, examples of his game bats are extremely rare. This is the first Mickey Lolich gamer we have ever seen. It is also the only Lolich game bat ever documented by MEARS to date. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 31. Mears grade: A7.5. This is an extemely rare and desirable pitcher's game bat issued to the star of the 1968 World Series. This bat has been consigned to this auction directly from the personal collection of world-renowned bat authenticator David Bushing. LOA from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,044.00
