Offered are six limited-edition color lithographs created by world-renowned sports artist Dick Perez. Each of the prints is signed by the artist in pencil in the lower left and individually hand numbered in the lower right. The six prints are comprised of three examples of each of two different works. The first is titled The National Pastime (26 x 18.25 inches) and pictures a game scene from opening day at the Polo Grounds on April 29, 1886. The second (21.5 x 19 inches) pictures an early nineteenth-century game in progress and is titled A Casual Game. All of the prints are in Near Mint to Mint condition. The National Pastime prints are numbered "145/200," 147/200," and "148/200," respectively. The remaining prints are numbered "48/100," 49/100," and "50/100," respectively. One example of each print has been beautifully framed; the remaining four prints remain unframed. Total 6 signed prints. Reserve $300. Estimate $600/$1,200. SOLD FOR $580.00
