1991 Kevin McHale Boston Celtics Home Jersey

Boston Celtics home jersey issued to forward Kevin McHale for use during the 1991 season. The white mesh jersey is lettered "Celtics" across the front and features the number "32" on both the front and reverse. "McHale" is lettered on the reverse above the name. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in green tackle twill. An official NBA patch is located on the upper left breast. Situated on the left front tail are a "Champion 46" label and an additional Champion label that designates the year, "1991," and makes note of the garment's extra body length, "Body Length +3." Original and unaltered, the jersey displays light wear throughout. Kevin McHale spent his entire thirteen-year career (1981-1993) with the Boston Celtics, where he teamed with Larry Bird and Robert Parish to form one of the greatest front lines in NBA history. During his distinguished career he appeared in seven All-Star Games and helped lead the club to three NBA Championships. In 1994, McHale became one of only twenty-one players to have their number retired by the Celtics. Two years later, along with Bird and Parish, he was honored by being named one of the top fifty players in NBA history. He was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999. Graded A5 by Mears.
