1994-1995 Charles Barkley Phoenix Suns Signed Home Jersey

Phoenix Suns home jersey issued to future Hall of Famer Charles Barkley during the 1994-95 season. The white mesh jersey is lettered "Suns" across the front and features the number "34" on the front and reverse. "Barkley" is lettered on the reverse above the number. All letters and numerals are appliqu├ęd in purple on black tackle twill. An official NBA patch is located on the upper right breast. Situated on the left front tail are a "Champion 52" label and a Champion exclusive label that reads in part: "94/95 Designed and Tailored Exclusively for Phoenix Suns." The exclusive label, which features the Suns team logo, also makes note of the garment's extra body length, "Body Length +3." Barkley has inscribed the garment "Charles Barkley 34" in black marker ("8") on the reverse. The jersey is all original, with no alterations, and displays light wear throughout. Charles Barkley was one of the most talented offensive players in NBA history. "Sir Charles" averaged 22.1 points and 11.7 rebounds per game over the course of his sixteen-year career (1985-2000). An eleven-time All-Star, Barkley was also named First Team All-NBA on five separate occasions and in 1985 was selected as the league's Most Valuable Player. In 1996 he received his highest honor to date by being selected as one of the top fifty players in NBA history. Barkley retired in 2000 as one of only four players ( along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain and Karl Malone) to have recorded more than 23,000 points, 12,000 rebounds, and 4,000 assists.
