Original 1952 Topps "Look 'n See" card artwork (3 x 4.25 inches). This is the original painting for card #25 George Eastman, creator of the Kodak camera (the first camera with rollable film). "Look 'n See" original artworks are extremely rare. This example and the other two "Look 'n See" artworks presented in this auction are the first original paintings from this classic early 1950s nonsport set we have seen. There is a very light glue stain along the bottom from the original mechanical stat paste-up. Excellent to Mint condition. The artwork is accompanied by an example of the issued card. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $1,276.00
