Lot # 193 (of 1411)   < Previous Lot | Next Lot >

1909-1911 T206 Jake Stahl-Glove PSA NM-MT 8 (Harris Collection)

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $5,510.00

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Glove-showing pose. One of only two examples graded at this level, with none graded higher. This extremely high-grade T206 example presents a particularly striking image of Stahl in a catching pose, which showcases the extraordinary quality of art of the T206 set. Centered slightly to the bottom and left (approximately 60/40), this card displays strong square corners, a bright, crisp image, and a clean reverse. We have found that the auction selling prices of cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $600. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $5,510.00
