1909-1911 T206 Heinie Wagner PSA NM-MT 8
Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $3,190.00
Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Bat on left shoulder pose. One of only three examples graded at this level with none graded higher. This card has extraordinarily strong, bold colors and, like many of the Boston players in T206, features a particularly striking artwork. Four sharp corners and perfect registration. Centered slightly towards the bottom right border (60/40). This is a stunning high-grade example of T206's "other Wagner," Boston's Heinie Wagner, who for a few years in the 1910 era was a star in his own right. We have found that the auction selling prices of cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $600. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $3,190.00
