1981 to 1990 Donruss, Fleer, Topps Wax Cases and Boxes Collection (110,000+ cards)

Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $1,972.00

Tremendous collection of unopened wax boxes and cases spanning the years 1981 to 1990. This collection represents a near-complete run (missing only 1983) of unopened material from three different card manufacturers - Donruss, Fleer, and Topps. This collection was assembled throughout the 1980s and early 1990s by a father and son who had a passion for collecting and looked for every opportunity to add new boxes or cases to their collection. They spent countless hours at shows and stores looking for the years they were missing. Each box and case was properly stored in the ideal manner, away from moisture, in a dry and clean area within their home. This is the first time this unopened material has seen the light of day in over fifteen years. Every box and case is completely all original and guaranteed to be unopened and unsearched. 1) 1981 Topps Cello Box: 24 packs. Each pack contains 28 cards for a total of 672 cards. The box has some general shelf wear; the packs are in Near Mint condition. 2) 1982 Donruss Wax Boxes (2): Two boxes with 36 packs per box for a total of 72 packs. With each pack containing 15 cards, the two boxes contain a total of 1,080 cards. The 1982 Donruss set includes Ripken's rookie card and there is, of course, the very possibility that within this case are Gem Mint Ripkens. One box is clean and tight with Near Mint packs inside. The other box has a little more wear and the packs are in Excellent condition overall. 3) 1982 Fleer Wax Boxes (2): Two boxes with 36 packs per box for a total of 72 packs.
