1952 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Champions Team-Signed Ball
Starting Bid - $400.00, Sold For - $812.00
This 1952 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed ball is distinguished by the impeccable quality of the twenty-three blue ink signatures upon its surface, each of which grades "10." The signatures appearing on the Official National League (Giles) ball are those of Dressen (Mgr., sweet spot), Robinson, Hodges, Amoros, Bridges, Shuba, Pafko, Holmes, Loes, Cox, Labine, Roe, Rutherford, King, Landrum, Pfister (coach), Branca, Black, Williams, Erskine (clubhouse), Furillo (clubhouse), Reese (clubhouse), and Snider (clubhouse). The notation "1952 Dodgers" appears in red ink atop the ball label. This is an outstanding ball. All team-signed Dodgers balls dating from their glory years are very desirable, but it is extremely rare to find an example with signatures so incredibly bold and ideal for display. All of the manufacturer's stampings are also crisp and bold. The ball is lightly toned and is otherwise in Near Mint condition. LOAs from James Spence/JSA and Steve Grad, Mike Gutierrez & Zach Rullo/PSA DNA. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $812.00
