1954 New York Yankees Team-Signed Ball
Starting Bid - $400.00, Sold For - $1,740.00
Baseball (no manufacturer's stampings) beautifully signed in blue ink by twenty-six members of the 1954 New York Yankees. The signature of Mickey Mantle ("6") sits alone on one of the sweet spots, while the signatures of Berra ("7") and Reynolds ("8") share the opposite sweet spot. The remaining signatures are those of Ford, Slaughter, Rizzuto, Morgan, Collins, McDonald, Skowron, Carey, Stuart, Grim, Schallock, Miranda, Sain, McDougald, Branca, Lopat, Coleman, Byrd, Bauer, Noren, Robinson, Silvera, and Woodling. The signatures range in grade from "6" to "8," averaging "7." It is rare to find an early 1950s Yankee ball so attractive and with so many signatures. This is a very crisp, clean, uncircullated white ball, with just a few hints of age toning. Excellent to Mint condition. LOAs from James Spence/JSA and Steve Grad, Mike Gutierrez & Zach Rullo/PSA DNA. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $1,740.00
