The signatures of no less than ten future Hall of Famers appear on this remarkable 1960 American League All-Star team-signed ball. Featured here are the blue ink signatures of the following thirty team members: Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Roger Maris, Brooks Robinson, Whitey Ford, Nelson Fox, Luis Aparicio (opposite sweet spot), Yogi Berra, Harvey Kuenn (sweet spot), Chuck Estrada, Bud Daley, Al Smith, Sherm Lollar, Bill Skowron, Bill Monbouquette, Dick Stigman, Frank Lary, Jim Gentile, Jim Coates, Jim Lemon, Gerry Staley, Vic Power, Ronnie Hansen, Pete Runnels, Frank Malzone, Minnie Minoso (opposite sweet spot), Al Lopez (clubhouse), Early Wynn (clubhouse), Al Kaline (clubhouse), and Tom Borland. All of the signatures have been boldly penned, ranging in grade from "8" to "10." The clean white ball, which bears no manufacturer's stampings, is in Near Mint condition. The 1960 "midsummer classic", of which there were two, marked the final All-Star Game appearance for Ted Williams, who retired at the end of the year after nineteen seasons. This is an exceptional team-signed All-Star Game ball with an unusually large number of signatures for any All-Star Game ball from this era, and in extraordinary condition.
