Large and eclectic baseball autograph collection, carefully assembled over a period of many years, with numerous highlights, featuring 196 signatures, penned on a variety of different items including photos, postcards, index cards, baseball cards, letters and cuts. Included within are 117 Hall of Fame signatures representing seventy-nine different Hall of Fame players. The collection of Hall of Fame signed material is comprised of the following items: thirty-one color Hall of Fame signed postcards (mostly gold) including Mantle, Grove, G. Kelly, Waner, Hoyt, Greenberg and Roush; fifteen signed index cards including J. Robinson, Lopez, Bell and Durocher; five cuts including DiMaggio and Averill; three letters (all in the form of a brief note or signature written in reply for an autograph request and penned on the original letter sent by the fan) including Conlan (signed simply "Jocko"), Lindstrom and Sewell; one piece of blank personal stationery (Mize); a blank sheet (Feller); twenty 8 x 10 inch photos (seventeen color and three b/w): Aaron, Reese, Mathews, Mays, Berra, Rizzuto, Bunning, Ford, Mazeroski, Koufax, F. Robinson, Irvin, B. Robinson, B. Gibson, Yastrzemski, Carew, McCovey, Morgan, Carlton, and Fingers; fourteen small postcard size photos including T. Jackson, Kell, Bell, Lombardi, Musial, and Snider; a first day cover signed by Brock; twenty-seven various baseball cards (nearly all are recent issues, 1970 to present, a few from the 1960s) including DiMaggio, Musial (2), Greenberg, Terry, Herman, Alston, L. Waner, Mays, Aaron, Kaline, Seaver, McCovey, and Schmidt. Included among the eighty-two non-Hall of Famer signatures (mainly on baseball cards and index cards) are those of Roger Maris (index card), Rickey Henderson, Don Newcombe, Bobby Thomson, Harvey Haddix, Sal Maglie, Joe Adcock, Pete Rose, Preacher Roe (1950 Bowman card), Carl Furillo (1951 Bowman card), Jim Rice, Andre Dawson, J. R. Richard, Keith Hernandez, Don Zimmer, Bob Horner, Darrel Evans, Mark McGwire, and Jose Canseco. The signatures have been penned in a variety of inks and range in grade from "3" to "10," averaging "8/9." The majority of the items are in Excellent condition overall. Total: 196 signed items.
