Circa 1880s Delft Baseball Steins (2)

Produced by Royal Bonn of Delft, Germany, each of these two nineteenth-century porcelain steins features the same decorative baseball image in cobalt blue. One of the steins bears a metal lid. Royal Bonn - Delft is stamped on the base of each. The lidded stein (8.25 inches high, including the lid) exhibits some minute surface crazing and is in Ex-Mt condition. The other (6.25 inches high) displays a number of repaired cracks which do not significantly detract from its overall Ex condition. Total: 2 steins. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000.
