Circa 1900 "Home Base Ball" Game

Starting Bid - $400.00, Sold For - $580.00

Issued circa 1900 by McLoughlin Bros., the box cover of the "Home Base Ball" game features stunning full-color graphics. The interior game board, made to resemble a diamond, is actually the bottom of the box and is framed on all sides by sturdy wood construction. With regard to the original playing components, only the game spinner is included. Good to Very Good condition overall, with two of the aprons missing and some minor separation along the bottom. Despite the minor imperfections, the cover remains largely unaffected and the game retains nearly all of its strong visual appeal. This is an extremely rare game, ideal for display. Dimensions: 14 x 15 x 1 inches. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $580.00
