Jackie Robinson Memorabilia Collection (10)

Jackie Robinson's great popularity inspired the manufacture of many products bearing either his likeness or endorsement. Offered here is a collection of ten of those classic pieces. 1) Jackie Robinson Doll: 13 inches in height; technically in Fair condition, however, it still presents well for display purposes with no cracking to the face. 2) Jackie Robinson Baseball Cap. Rare cap bears Robinson's likeness and facsimile signature on the brim. Most likely offered as a comic book premium or stadium souvenir. Vg. 3) 1949 Slugger at the Bat record album. Issued by Columbia Records, the two-album recording features the voices of both Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese. The jacket is in Very Good condition, with a few small tears and tape repair along the seams. Each of the records has a few minor scratches. 4) Jackie Robinson Daily Dime Register Bank: 2.5 x 2.5 x .75; metal construction; Vg-Ex/Ex. 5) Jackie Robinson Little League Decal Bat: 32 inches in length; approximately 75% of the decal remains including nearly 98% of Robinson's portrait. 6) Vintage Jackie Robinson Metal Figural Bank: 5.5 inches in height; bust length image of Robinson in uniform features his name on the base; Vg, missing the bottom coin cover. 7) Jackie Robinson Reproduction Metal Figural Bank: 5.75 inches in height; circa 1995, this is a very substantial modern day reproduction of the original metal figural bank and is nearly identical in design; Nr/Mt. 8) Vintage Jackie Robinson Plastic Figural Candy Holder: 5 inches in height; bust length image of Robinson set atop a plastic container; issued as a comic book premium during the 1950s, includes five pieces of vintage candy in the holder; Vg, glued together and also a few chips along the edges. 9) 1948 Jackie Robinson Baseball Game: 14.5 x 15.25 x 2; Gd, with some of the game pieces missing and loss of one apron, still very substantial for display. 10) 1950 Jackie Robinson Wall Calendar: 8.5 x 14, calendar features a facsimile signed photo of Robinson above a tear-away calendar; this piece is possibly not vintage but still great for display; Nr/Mt.
