1916 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Press Pin
Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,276.00
Rare early World Series press pin with scalloped edges and baseball design has virtually flawless enamel and only the most minute wear to the raised center. The very high relief design of the baseball center of this pin makes it especially susceptible to wear. This is a far superior example of this pin than normally seen, with only the most minor virtually undetectable wear to the highest point of the design which does not even effect the blue lettering reading "Brooklyn." Threaded-post reverse complete and intact. Manufactured by Dieges & Clust. Strong Excellent condition. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/2,000. SOLD FOR $1,276.00
