1971-1979 Brooks Robinson Signed and Inscribed Pro Model Adirondack Bat

From the famed Barry Halper Collection, this bat is also one of only two Brooks Robinson pro model bats ever to receive a perfect grade of A10 from MEARS. The 1971-1979 Adirondack block-letter model "153B" bat features Robinson's uniform number ("5") written on the knob in vintage black marker. Further provenance is offered by Robinson himself, who has inscribed the bat in blue Sharpie (grading "10") on the barrel, "Barry, my bat - Thanks for your kindness - Brooks Robinson." The black-ringed bat displays heavy use throughout, including ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, and a slight amount of pine tar on the handle. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 34.2 ounces.
