Circa 1968 Bruce Lee Handwritten Workout Notes
Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $2,232.50
This one-page handwritten sheet, penned entirely in Bruce Lee’s hand, is one of the most significant of all handwritten Bruce Lee documents as it relates directly to his extraordinary personal exercise regimen, which is such a large part of his great legacy. Bruce Lee’s martial arts skills are legendary today and, combined with his cinematic fame and untimely death at the age of thirty-three, are largely responsible for his enduring mystique. Lee’s skills were the result of long hours of training, and his devotion to nutrition and physical fitness are still marveled at by his adherents today. Despite his slight frame, Lee possessed extraordinary strength and could often perform physical feats in the gym that none could match. The offered document is an extremely rare set of Bruce Lee’s personal handwritten training notes that outline one of his conditioning routines. The first entry is “Roadwork” and lists his regime of sprinting/jogging/walking. The second entry is “Skill Conditioning” which is followed by seven training routines including specifics with regard to duration and exercises. The sheet (8.5 x 11 inches) displays three notebook holes along the left border, as well as fold lines and light staining throughout. In Very Good condition. This is both a rare and extremely desirable Bruce Lee handwritten document and one that is directly related to his legendary physical prowess. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $1,000.
