1909-1911 T206 White Borders High-Grade SGC Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $1,762.50

Three extremely high-grade T206 White Border tobacco cards, each graded NM 84 by SGC: Harry Davis (Davis on front), Bill Graham, and Jeff Sweeney (Sovereign back). This is a beautiful trio of high-grade cards from the most popular tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era. These three examples each display four sharp corners, flawless registration, and extremely strong colors. Each of these cards display as a crisp, fresh gem, worthy of inclusion in any ultra high-grade T206 collection or set. Graham and Sweeney are centered approximately 30/70 L/R and T/B, Davis is centered approximately 60/40 L/R. This is a very attractive collection of three high-grade tobacco cards, each graded and encapsulated by SGC, from the premier tobacco card set of the era. The SMR value for T206s graded NM 7 by PSA is $350 each. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grades is $1,050. Total 3 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,762.50
