Lot # 182 (of 1594)   < Previous Lot | Next Lot >

1909-1911 T206 Harry Howell SGC NM/MT+ 92

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $1,645.00

Graded NM/MT+ 92 by SGC. Bright, crisp, and perfectly clean both front and back, with four sharp, square corners. Centered towards the top border (35/65). This T206 of Harry Howell is by far the highest SGC-graded example of this card. The next highest graded example by SGC is NM+ 86 (two examples at that level). The PSA Population Report records three PSA 8 NM-MT examples and one PSA 9 MINT example. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for a large premium, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. The equivalent SMR value is $750+. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $1,645.00
