1910 E90-2 American Caramel Honus Wagner

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $4,112.50

Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Extremely attractive example of the key card, Honus Wagner, from the 1910 E90-2 American Caramel set. This very scarce set was regionally issued in the Pittsburgh area, and features only members of the Pirates, the National League champions of the previous year. This is one of Honus Wagner's most striking cards, and features a portrait image reminiscent of the pose which appears on his famous T206 card. This is an especially pleasing example for the grade assigned by PSA. It is bright, crisp, and clean, with perfect colors, and an extremely bold blue background. The card has been downgraded due to a couple of small creases, evenly rounded corners, and some light soiling to the reverse. This is a very attractive mid-grade example of this card, which is universally recognized as among the most classic and popular of all 1910-era Honus Wagner cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $4,112.50
