1941 R330 Double Play Partial Set (51 of 75)

R330 Double Play partial set is comprised of 51 different cards (out of the 75 cards in the complete set) from this unique prewar card issue. All are different, and included are many Hall of Famers and stars of the era. 25% grade Vg-Ex, 59% Vg, and 16% range from Fr-Gd to Gd-Vg (mostly Gd). Included are both Ted Williams cards in the set and Joe DiMaggio. The twenty-four cards needed for completion of the offered partial set are #7-8, 59-60 Cronin/Foxx, 101-102, 103-104, 105-106 Grove/Doerr, 107-108, 111-112, 113-114, 115-116, 119-120, 121-122, 125-126, 127-128, 129-130, 131-132, 133-134, 135-136, 137-138, 139-140 Arnovich/Hubbell, 141-142, 143-144, 145-146, 147-148, and 149-150. This is an original "childhood" collection, assembled in 1941 and saved in the family of the original owner. We have selected three key cards to be graded by PSA. Keys: #23-24 Reese/Higbe (Vg-Ex), 31-32 Ott/Young (Gd-Vg), 39-40 Mize/Slaughter (Vg), 51-52 Newsome/Greenberg (Vg), 53-54 McCosky/Gehringer (Vg), 57-58 Williams/Tabor (PSA VG-EX 4), 61-62 Gomez/Rizzuto (Fr-Gd), 63-64 DiMaggio/Keller (PSA VG 3), 65-66 Rolfe/Dickey (Gd), 67-68 Gordon/Ruffing (Gd-Vg), 77-78 Krakauskas/Feller (Gd), 81-82 Williams/Cronin (PSA VG-EX 4), 85-86 Greenberg/Ruffing (Vg), 89-90 Ott/Whitehead (Vg), and 99-100 Mize/Litwhiler (Gd-Vg). An attractive low-to-medium grade partial set of this often overlooked prewar issue which features two players per card. Total 51 cards representing 102 players.
