Three Exceptional Multi-Signed Hall of Fame Balls (61 Signatures)

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $1,292.50

Collection of three multi-signed balls featuring signatures of Hall of Famers, including many deceased, from Cooperstown ceremonies long ago, each with players spanning many eras: 1) Twenty-four blue or black ink signatures (ranging in grade from “6” to “10,” averaging “9”) on an Official National League (Feeney) ball: Averill, Bell, Berra, Campanella (secretarial), Conlan, Coveleski, Cronin, Feller, Gehringer, Greenberg, Grimes, Herman (sweet spot), Hoyt, Irvin, J. Johnson, Kelly, Kiner, Leonard, Marquard, Musial, Roush, Ruffing, Terry, and L. Waner (sweet spot). 2) Twenty-four blue ink signatures (“9/10”) on an Official National League (Feeney) ball: Alston, Aparicio, Appling, Carew (on ball label), Chandler, Gehringer, Grimes (sweet spot), Hubbell, Irvin, J. Johnson, Kaline, Kell, Kiner, Koufax (twice), Leonard, Marichal (sweet spot), Mathews, Mize, Musial, Perry, F. Robinson, Sewell, and Wilhelm. 3) Thirteen either blue or black ink signatures (“8” to “10”) on an official National League (Feeney) ball (Kuhn and Walker are the only non-HOFers, and both are legitimate future candidates, especially Kuhn): Roy Campanella (secretarial), Max Carey, Earle Combs, Frankie Frisch, Warren Giles, Waite Hoyt, Sandy Koufax, Bowie Kuhn (sweet spot), Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, Edd Roush, Dixie Walker, and Zack Wheat. All of the balls are in Near Mint condition. Multi-signed baseballs with Hall of Famer signatures such as these are unique and therefore naturally difficult to value. Because of this, they tend to sell for a significant discount to single-signed Hall of Fame balls. A strong case can be made that rarely offered high quality Hall of Fame balls such as these represent one of the most outstanding values in the entire baseball autograph collecting world. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 3 balls. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++. SOLD FOR $1,292.50
