Hall of Fame Single-Signed Baseball Collection (63)

Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $4,112.50

Collection of sixty-three Hall of Fame single-signed balls, representing sixty different players, highlighted by single-signed balls of Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, and Sandy Koufax. Included are eleven members of baseball's 500 Home Run Club and fourteen members of the 3,000 Hit Club. All of the balls are either Official American or National League balls (production date of each between 1970 and 1999) and have been signed in blue or black ink ("9/10") across the sweet spot. The number of balls for each player, if more than one, is noted in parentheses. The collection is comprised of the following: Aaron, Anderson, Aparicio, Banks, Bench, Berra, Brett, Brock, Bunning (2), Carew, Carlton, Carter, DiMaggio, Doby, Drysdale, Feller, Fingers, Fisk, Ford, B. Gibson, Gwynn, R. Jackson, Jenkins, Kaline, Killebrew, Kiner, Koufax, Lasorda, Marichal, Mathews, Mays, Mazeroski, McCovey, Molitor, Morgan, Murray, Musial, Niekro, Palmer, Perez, Perry, Puckett, Reese, Ripken, B. Robinson (2), F. Robinson, Ryan (2), Sandberg, Schmidt, Schoendienst, Seaver, Smith, Snider, Spahn, Weaver, Wilhelm, B. Williams, T. Williams, Yastrzemski, and Yount. Also included is a ball signed by both Monte Irvin (sweet spot) and Willie Stargell (side panel). This collection represents a relatively economical yet still very substantial foundation for a comprehensive Hall of Fame single-signed ball collection. If purchased individually the total cost would be considerably more than what these will likely sell for as a collection. Approximately fifty percent of the balls display light age toning; otherwise the collection is in Near Mint condition overall. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 64 balls (63 single-signed balls and one dual-signed ball). Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $4,112.50
