Signed books have always been a popular sub-field of autograph collecting. Offered here are six signed books/periodicals, three signed by multiple players, featuring a total of eighty-nine signatures, including many all-time greats such as Tris Speaker, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Ted Williams, and Joe DiMaggio. 1) The DiMaggio Albums , edited by Richard Whittingham (two-volume set with original red slipcover). Each hardcover volume is signed on the interior in blue Sharpie ("grading "10") by DiMaggio. G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1989. Each volume is in Near Mint condition. The slip cover is Ex-Mt. 2) The Mick by Mickey Mantle with Herb Gluck. Inscribed in blue ink ("10") on the flyleaf, "To Craig - Heard you had a bad accident but your knees are still in better shape than mine - Your friend - Mickey Mantle." Hardcover first edition with dust jacket. Doubleday & Company, Inc., New York, 1985. The book is Nr-Mt, the dust jacket Vg-Ex. 3) The Cleveland Indians by Franklin Lewis.
