1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Jack McCarthy
Starting Bid - $500.00 , Sold For - $1,410.00
Graded VG 40 by SGC. E107 featuring outfielder Jack McCarthy from the Cleveland Naps of the American League. McCarthy led the 1901 Cleveland Blues (later the Indians) with a .321 batting average. Bright and clean card, with a very crisp portrait image, even wear to the corners, no creases, and centered slightly to the top border. The back has a few minor surface scrapes and very light stains. A very attractive sample from one of the rarest sets of the early twentieth century. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,410.00
