1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Harry Steinfeldt
Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $822.50
Graded POOR 10 by SGC. E107 of Harry Steinfeldt, the only member of the Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance infield left out of Franklin P. Adams's poem. Steinfeldt was a reliable third baseman with an unusually powerful arm. After eight years with the Reds, he was traded to the Cubs in 1906 and responded with his best season, leading the National League in hits, RBIs, and batting average. A very attractive low-grade example of this unusual and distinctively designed card featuring an unusual portrait of Steinfeldt dressed in street attire. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $822.50
