1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Snake Wiltse

Starting Bid - $200.00 , Sold For - $411.25

Graded POOR 10 by SGC. E107 Breisch-Williams of pitcher Snake Wiltse (brother of Hooks Wiltse) from the New York Highlanders of the American League. (Note: This card is misidentified by the SGC label as Hooks Wiltse, who did not begin his Major League career until 1904 with the NY Giants.) It is interesting to note that Wiltse is actually pictured in a Philadelphia Athletics uniform on this card. Wiltse played part of the season with the Athletics in 1902. Heavy horizontal crease, hole at the top border, and scattered stains. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $411.25
