1909 T204 Ramly Tobacco Moran - T.T.T. Advertisement
Starting Bid - $200.00 , Sold For - $940.00
Graded EX 5 by PSA. Scarce T204 Ramly "T.T.T. Cigarettes" advertising card of Chicago catcher P. J. Moran. Pat Moran is a significant subject in the Ramly set, not so much for his career as player, but for his later managerial career in which he led the Cincinnati Reds to the World Championship over the Chicago Black Sox in the 1919 World Series. All T.T.T. backs are extremely rare. This is an attractive high-grade example with very light, even wear on the corners, centered slightly to the left, and a crisp, clean portrait image. The T.T.T. back is virtually flawless (a tiny black dot between the "R and A" in the word "Natural") with bold black text. An attractive high-grade sample of a very rare back variation from the classic T204 Ramly set. Disclosure per section 13 of REA's terms and conditions: This lot has been consigned from the personal collection of an executive of REA's internet software service provider. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $940.00
