1975 Topps Complete Set in Uncut Sheets (Five 132-Card Sheets)
Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $2,937.50
The entire 660-card set of 1975 Topps baseball is presented on these five 132-card uncut production sheets. We have seen other 1975 Topps sheets but this is the first complete 1975 Topps set in uncut sheet form (each of the five different sheets comprise a set) that we can recall seeing. The 1975 Topps set, of course, features are all the major stars of the day, including rookie cards of Hall of Famers George Brett, Robin Yount, and Gary Carter. This set has always been one of the most popular and unusual sets of the 1970s. Because of the flush-to-the-border design of their colored borders, 1975 Topps cards are very susceptible to wear along the edges and corners, and as individual cards are therefore particularly valuable in extremely high grade. The five uncut sheets are all complete final production sheets with fully printed backs. Extremely close inspection of each sheet reveals several very light, surface wrinkles (none affecting the star cards) and some very light scattered wear. The sheets are overall in Excellent condition, with many individual cards in essentially Mint condition. This is an impressive group of sheets representing a complete set of one of the most popular of all 1970s Topps issues. Also included is an extra (duplicate) 1975 Topps sheet with Ryan, Rose, Jackson, etc. Dimensions: each 28.25 x 42.5 inches. Total 6 sheets. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $2,937.50
