This is an outstanding ultra high-grade complete set of 1973 Topps baseball cards. All 660 cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA. Included are two Gem Mint 10s, 324 Mint 9s and 334 NM-MT 8s. The average PSA grade is an incredible 8.51. This set is listed on the "PSA Set Registry." It is the fourth-highest graded set out of 83 registered sets. The grades for the entire set can easily be accessed online on the PSA Set Registry under "Spring 2008 REA." The PSA grades are as follows: Two GEM MINT 10: #62 and 548. 324 MINT 9: including #50 Clemente (HOF), 100 Aaron (HOF), 130 Rose, 142 Munson, 160 Palmer (HOF), 170 Killebrew (HOF), 190 Gibson (HOF), 255 Jackson (HOF), 280 Kaline (HOF), 305 Mays, 350 Seaver (HOF), 380 Bench (HOF), and 615 Schmidt RC (HOF). 334 NM-MT 8: including #1 Ruth/Aaron/Mays, 174 Gossage RC, 193 Fisk (HOF), 220 Ryan (HOF), 230 Morgan (HOF), 245 Yastrzemski (HOF), 320 Brock (HOF), 330 Carew (HOF), and 614 Evans RC. A tremendous amount of time and energy has been invested in the assembly of this high-grade set, with a concern for all condition factors including centering, and also overall eye appeal. This is easily one of the finest sets ever assembled of this classic early 1970s Topps issue. The grading fees alone to encapsulate 660 cards would literally be thousands of dollars!
