Dazzy Vance Signed Black-and-White Hall of Fame Postcard

Starting Bid - $300.00 , Sold For - $1,175.00

Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcard (Artvue) of Dazzy Vance, signed in blue ink (grading “10”) along the base. Vance was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955 and he passed away just six years later. This short time frame no doubt contributes significantly to the rarity of signed examples of his black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards today. Vance has always been a very difficult-to-find signed Hall of Fame plaque. This is an outstanding example. The card displays a few extremely light hairline horizontal creases that are only visible from the reverse (and even then only under close observation), otherwise in Near Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,175.00
