Paul Waner Signed Black-and-White Hall of Fame Postcard

Black-and-white (Albertype) Hall of Fame postcard of Paul Waner, signed in blue ink (grading “8/9”) in the lower margin. Waner has added the personalization, “To Harrison Trask,” along the top and the salutation, “Best Wishes,” in the center of the card. The card displays two small areas of tape residue on the reverse from its once having been mounted. The card has been mailed (address only, no correspondence on the reverse) and bears a postmark dated 4/6/53. Waner was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1952 and he passed away in 1965. The card has two small strips of clear tape on the reverse related to its once having been mounted, and is otherwise in Excellent condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200.
