1951 National League All-Star Team-Signed Ball with Jackie Robinson

Official National League (Frick) ball signed in either blue or black ink by twenty-seven members of the 1951 National League All-Star team: Jackie Robinson (“6”), Roy Campanella, Warren Spahn, Ralph Kiner, Red Schoendienst (very faint), Pee Wee Reese, Stan Musial (very faint), Robin Roberts, Richie Ashburn, Duke Snider, Al Dark, Don Newcombe, Eddie Sawyer (Mgr., sweet spot, faint), Del Ennis, Dutch Leonard, Bucky Walters, Bob Elliott, Bruce Edwards, Preacher Roe, Larry Jansen, Sal Maglie, Gil Hodges, Ewell Blackwell, Willie Jones, John Wyrostek, and two others (faded, illegible). The signatures range in grade from “1” to “8,” averaging “6/7.” Powered by home runs from Musial, Kiner, Elliot, and Hodges, the National League slugged their way to a 12-10 victory over the American League in the 1951 midsummer classic. The ball is lightly toned and displays a few minor abrasions (not seriously affecting any of the signatures). In Very Good to Excellent condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200.
