1910 E75 American Caramel Boxing PSA-Graded Complete Set (20 cards)
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $823
Outstanding full-color complete set of early twentieth-century Prize Fighters issued with American Caramel candy. Each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. The PSA grades are as follows: Eleven VG-EX 4: Attell, Britt, Hart, Jeffries, Ketchell, Maher, McCoy, Nelson, O'Brien, Sharkey, and Walcott. Eight VG 3: Burns, Corbett, Dixon, Fitzsimmons, Gans, Johnson, McGovern, and Munroe. One GOOD 2: Sullivan. It is extremely rare to find such a high-grade set of these early boxing caramel cards. Compared to baseball cards of the era, these early boxing cards, which are at least as scarce, represent a particularly outstanding value. Caramel cards, of course, tend to be far rarer than their tobacco-card counterparts for both baseball and boxing cards. This is an extremely attractive set of one of the most classic boxing candy issues from the early twentieth century. Total 20 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $823
